BYU-I Education Week 2017
What a great experience being back at my old stomping grounds (Ricks College) and being able to be on the opposite spectrum and teach at Education Week at BYU-I. Brought back a flood of memories...one being when I met Ryan at Wal-Mart (true story). I'd like to thank my mom for being an inspiration to me, and I want to thank my husband for always supporting me in the things I love to do. What a great weekend!

Contest Winners
Book Review - Under a New York Skyline
Cute, clean, fun read.
I only read the story by Nikki Trionfo, and it was sweet and wonderful. I love fast, quick reads that leave me feeling happy. That's the reason why I read - to escape reality and get a slice of happiness for a small moment. Plus this book was set in New York. I love New York! Thank you for writing a clean, fun story. ;)

The Book of Real Beauty for LDS Girls
I've been working on something the past few months, and I'm finally able to tell everyone what it is. It will be my first non-fiction book, and the best part is my mom is illustrating it. How cool is that?! The book is geared toward young girls ages 9-13, and it goes through how to find real beauty and being confident with who you are. I love the goal of the book - to help young girls see how beautiful they truly are. Heavenly Father made each and every one of us beautiful. Hopefully this book will help girls build their confidence just a little bit (especially in this judgmental world).
